We are looking for a skilled cyber security generalist in the NY, NJ and PA area. We currently focus on the small-and-mid-size enterprise market. We do not assume you will be an expert in each and every area of information assurance, compliance, cyber security and risk management, but you should have broad and deep knowledge of a wide range of technological and business issues and be able to lead engagements in areas that include:

  • Risk Assessments and Gap Analyses;
  • Perimeter analysis and penetration detection;
  • Implementation of continuous monitoring solutions to provide ongoing surveillance;
  • Compliance within a wide range of frameworks and regulatory regimes (including HIPAA, PCI, SOX, Graham-Leach-Bliley);
  • Establishing baseline policies and procedures involving technology and business operations that conform to industry best practices;
  • Planning for and implementation of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Incident Response initiatives;
  • Identification of human engineering vulnerabilities and opportunities to mitigate through training;
  • Oversight over IT system audits;
  • You will also understand that the fields of risk management and cyber security remain “moving targets” and that being engaged in this profession requires a devotion to career-long learning (which the company will support).

What you would need to succeed in this position:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent areas of knowledge;

HIPAA Compliance Consultant/Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated HIPAA Compliance Consultant/Specialist to support client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients (both Covered Entities and Business Associates) to deliver professional services. Our HIPAA Compliance practice focuses on HIPAA and HITECH Compliance Risk Assessments, Privacy and Security Gap Analyses, and on building HIPAA Privacy and Security programs for small-and-mid-sized companies.   • Industry-related certification (e.g. Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), PMI-PMP, etc.);
  • Written communication skills for use in preparing formal documentation;
  • Verbal skills that include the ability to clearly articulate thoughts, be persuasive and to deliver presentation and training to all levels of management;
  • The ability to undertake and complete tasks independently, meet schedules and delivery timelines, and to move swiftly from concepts and theory to action;
  • The ability to interface with C-level executives, as well as tactical implementers;

IT Systems Administrator

We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Administrator for a firm involved in cyber security and compliance in the NY, NJ and PA area. We currently focus on the small-and-mid-size enterprise market. This will be an opportunity to help us build a company with a dynamic and fun culture.

You will have had several years of experience in network and infrastructure administration as well as considerable knowledge of the security, privacy and compliance issues faced by small and mid-sized companies. Although we will expect you to be able to configure Windows and Linux systems, email, web and file servers, we expect you to contribute to our development of infrastructure and applications and assume a supervisory role over time.

Certification(s) in a combination of Microsoft, Cisco, virtualization, cloud-based and wireless technologies would be ideal, and your interest in moving up to CISM, CISO or CISSP certification would be encouraged (and supported).

You will be expected to help us manage our own infrastructure and the technology component of engagements with customers, involving:

Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to interface with potential and actual clients on behalf of a firm involved in cyber security and compliance in the NY, NJ and PA area. You will have had at a minimum several years of experience in sales and/or account management and will be familiar with the technology project life cycle. You do not necessarily have to be an expert in the areas of cyber security and compliance, but some knowledge of and interest in those areas will position you to be able to talk to and guide prospects and clients during all parts of the sales and project cycle. You will need to be a motivated, self-starter, but the potential to advance to a supervisory role is there.
